WSOPRAS 2023

WSOPRAS 1st Meeting was a giant success for everyone. At least 67 countries were represented with over 450 attendees, including 150 presenting short talks and posters, debates, videos and key note lectures. We look forward to the Second WSOPRAS Meeting in three years time. Thank you Executive Committee for organising such a top quality meeting.

As President-Elect ISD-DE I represented Lacrimal Surgery and gave a Key Note lecture on “Lacrimal Surgery, a Changing Landscape”, encompassing the importance of recognising the various causes of watering eyes and hence future prevention.

The Organisers ensured that we experienced an evening of local UAE culture, with camels, horse riders and traditional dancers at the Gala Dinner.
