Daphna Landau is a senior consultant at the Orbital Ophthalmic Plastic & Lacrimal Surgery Institute, Sheba Medical Center, Israel, founder and head of the Pediatric Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery clinic at the Goldschleger Eye Institute, and founder of the Ophthalmic Genetics Clinic. She has an MD degree from Tel Aviv University and a BSc in Mathematics with Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (cum laude on both). She completed her residency in Ophthalmology with excellence at Sheba Medical Center and passed both board exams with the highest honors. She has completed her training in Orbital and Oculoplastic Surgery, both at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and at Sheba medical center, and is a research affiliate at the Division of Ophthalmology, CHOP.

Dr. Landau is leading various academic and innovative projects, presented at many national and international conferences. She was the organizing committee of the Oculoplastic Today 2022 meeting held in Israel in 2022, with more than 20 world leaders in Oculoplastic Surgery as invited speakers,  and co-chaired the first joint meeting of Israeli Pediatric Ophthalmology and Israeli Oculoplastic Society in 2023. She won several prestigious academic and clinical research grants, including the Talpiot medical leadership program for Excellence in Medicine and Clinical Research, and is a graduate of the Technion Program for Excellence. Dr. Landau is a co-Editor of the Atlas of Orbital Imaging under Springer Publications 2022, a comprehensive atlas describing the appearances of orbital pathologies on orbital imaging with authorship from a diverse, international group of nearly 100 world-renowned oculoplastic surgeons. In addition, she regularly participates in international humanitarian delegations, performing oculoplastic surgeries.
