Andrew R. Harrison, MD grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Pitzer College in Claremont, California. He graduated summa cum laude from medical school at the University of Missouri – Columbia and interned at Washington University in St.Louis. He then completed an ophthalmology residency and neuro-ophthalmology and orbital surgery fellowship at the University of Minnesota. His fellowship in oculoplastic and orbital surgery was performed at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon with Drs Jack Wobig and Roger Dailey. Dr. Harrison is currently an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and the director of Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery at the University of Minnesota, and has a private practice office in Edina, MN. He directs a two-year ASOPRS fellowship in oculoplastic and orbital surgery. Dr Harrison has published over 100 scientific articles and book chapters related to all aspects of oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgery. His current research includes new devices for lacrimal surgery. He has been listed in US News and World Report Top Ophthalmologists, America’s Top Ophthalmologists, and Best Doctors in America.
